iDream of: "Destined to be with You" Wedding

Since you've been following the iDream that has tied into three weeks now, I welcome you to the final part of the runaway themed soirées.

iDream of:

"Destined to be with You"
...wedding...

You know the drill my friends, so let's begin.

To bring this series to a close, I thought a destination wedding with the theme "destined to be with you" was the perfect fairytale ending. Let's pretend {for my blogging sake} the two prior iDreams already took place in reality somewhere in this world and that would lead me to this invitation decision I am about to make right here...I wouldn't send out invitations but I would send out destination reminders to all your guests that have confirmed, 100%, for sure, without a doubt double, triple checked "yes" that they would be joining you on this adventure. Why you may ask? Because by the decision of choosing a destination wedding, you are already making it intimate so why waste money for invitations when you could simply speak of the idea at your engagement party and have people work out their end of things to be able to come or not? See, seeeeeeee.

Instead of save the date, I wonder if Paper Papel Papier could put "reminding you" with your custom silhouettes then on the back will be your destination, dates and detail times/addresses for the evening. It would be a nice little touch to remind the confirmed guests when and where they are whisking away {again} because let's be honest...we don't remember unless we set our iPhone reminders to beep aggressively at us a week prior to the event. Did I lose you yet?

Depending where you are having your destination wedding, this may all change but in my head - your in Paris, you like simplicity and glamour, black and gold...and an open bar. So let's get down to business...

Simple entrance - drapes make all the difference, add them then your flowers down the sides of your aisle and voila!

Go out with a bang and get the party started in the right kinda way!

Match it to your colors! Stella Arbor Boutique has the cutest handmade details to choose from.

Since a destination wedding already speaks for itself, I would focus on the details of the evening and keep it small, simple yet fabulous {hence why I didn't go into detail of florals and back of chair decor}.

Ceremony time!

I die, these escort cards would be the perfect touch! Black liners, gold macaroon and gold paper with black writing on it...tuck me in. Your in Paris remember? So that makes it even more perfect.

Table set up is key {as I always say}. I cannot find who did these tables but I would kiss their feet and beg them for a discount at my wedding.

Photo back drop? Yes please.

I wouldn't have a huge dessert buffet {shocking, I know} but I would have this glam cake.

With touches of the "destined to be with you" randomly through the venue. The signs would mimic these below but with phrases like "destined to be together," "it was destined to be this way," "destined to be with you,""this was our destiny," "damn we were destined."

Metallic Prints - it would be great if it said, "time to eat, drink and be married."

And add a little over the top theme-y-ness to it...I would spray paint them gold!

Hope you enjoyed! Happy {late night} Wednesday to whoever held their attention all the way through this. Until next time...
