myMindisFull Monday's: The Wedding Cake

WARNING: Monday's are going to be my "mind Monday's", if you don't want to know what has been on my mind...I suggest you skip my Monday blogs.

What is on my mind this Monday?

the wedding cake vs. the wedding dessert table

I feel like there is room for both at any wedding but I  lean more towards having a dessert table - I love the idea of being able to give the guests a variety, easy finger sweets to grab n' go,  not waiting for a slice of cake and not feeling bad if you don't like the flavor that the couple picked for the cake.

I love the idea of being traditional but at the same time rather then "look at that cake!"...I would want, "oh my god I want everything on that table!" and people pushing their way through, tackling one another to grab a cake pop.

 After finding some of these cake displays, it's making my mind sooooorta sway.

...so what did you have at your wedding? What would you want to have? What would you rather?

    This is going to sound kind of sad... but we didn't have a wedding cake at our little 10 person wedding reception, story that I will hopefully tell you one day. But when me and the hubs renew our vows in 3 years... I can only imagine how beautiful the cake will be. I'm already planning it and I know it's going to be perfect. But what would I rather have? Definitely a table with a beautiful cake. Then a different table with lots of sweet appetizers.
