In the invitation Jen included, "...let's face it, she won't remember her first birthday, so please come celebrate with Mike and me the fact that we made it a whole year as parents!"
Which led to today's iDream of...
Our First Year of Survival
I am not a mother yet but can only imagine how crazy the first year of being a mother would be...millions of questions, billions of things to learn almost instantly, what works for your baby, what schedule is best, what method of parenting you choose, sanitizer every two seconds, nap time but they won't nap, or a tooth is coming in and they are on a mission to destroy everything...I can only imagine and have the up most respects for you mama's!
After surviving you're first year as parents and your baby turns the big numero uno, here is some party inspiration to combine the two!
For the baby:
A smash cake to destroy but make sure you have it photo ready and cameras on deck because then you can get these memorable shots!
For the adults:
This wedding made me fall in love with color. How they displayed the streamer chandeliers, the garland they made, the balloons down to the straws.
Make a photo backdrop with a number one and colors to match then let your guests have some fun.

A birthday chair for the birthday baby, themed...of course.

For the adults:
Create a birthday cocktail for your 21 and over guests to grab and enjoy.
Spray paint the lids a color that goes with your party and ribbon with a tag of what it is! Or you can have a chalkboard sitting by the tub with details of what's what.
...don't forget a beer bucket.
