Mustache Soirée

I love collaborating with a creative, talented and motivated host...who the party is for...to celebrate her 30th...all the while planning this with two children...not to mention one of the children is a newborn...and this host/mother extraordinaire works full time on top of it all.

That my friend, is a woman who handles business.

I had the honor of making Christy's Mustache 30th birthday soirée a little sweeter.

One of the many things I love about working with my clients to make their perfect party a reality is the creative process of seeing where their head is at. Talking to them, emailing them ideas, sketching thoughts out and figuring out where their thoughts go when they think about their party, what pops out to them, what desserts sound good to them, how they want their attendees to feel when they are at the party and how they see the dessert bar being.

She wanted a candy bar, cupcakes, cake pops and little cake with sticking to her mustache theme and her colors that were black and white with a splash of neon green and turquoise.

Christy did a fabulous job at the small details from the sign that said "don't forget a stache for the road" to the happy birthday bunting and mustache goodie bags. We sketched the layout and she was even more mind blowing-ly awesome to set out the desserts/set it up the next day since I was assisting for the amazing Velvet Alley Events.

Now I mustache you a question, what do you think?
