DIY-ing over: Clean Candle Jars

I found a new DIY that will probably turn me into a candle jar hoarder, if you are reading this babe - I'm sorry I'm not sorry.

1. boil water, get the candle you want to clean out
2. pour water into candle and let sit for about ten minutes
3. scrape the bottom of the candle to make sure wax comes up - if it didn't on it's own
4. take cotton ball and clean excess wax with rubbing alcohol
5. do what you please with them - I planted little cacti in them to add a pop of color to my outside entertaining area

You can do so many things with these jars! Here are some examples from other blogs:

Put your spices in them! by Simple Things, Sweet Life
Use them to store your q-tips and cotton balls! by Restoration Beauty
Or use them as make up organization! by A Modern Commonplace Book

So many ideas, so little time but so many candle jars to repurpose.

Happy Sunday everyone!
