Dinky dinky

You're thinking...wtf is a dinky dink? If you know how I say it, you're probably annoyed because I say this all the time and I'm really not going to apologize for it either. So...sorry for not apologizing?

dinky dink-tiny, mini, baby, small, adorable ANYTHING mainly mini cupcakes or small objects
ex: When holding up a mini cupcake to my boyfriend's face..."Look it's a dinky dink!"...and que the eye roll

Now that we have that settled, on to the dinky dinks and cake pops I did for a lovely customer of mine, Tricia. Not only is this woman gorgeous, talented, fun and loving but her house/interior design style takes my breath away. Literally every time I walk into her house, I can't breathe and I about pass out because of how in love I am with it. Two words: HER KITCHEN

Also she has a lovely jewelry line called AMOREPHOSIS. I'm a huge fan and hopefully you become one as well! They make the perfect Valentine's day gift gentlemen...if any guys even read this...awkward.

Focus Rachel, focus.

Okay so I decided since she booked me for her Superbowl party it would be cute to make little football shaped cake pops! I found a picture on Google of these....

Yeaaaaaah mine definitely did not turn out like that. Shoot me, I died when I started decorating them to be honest. I thought they came out a little bit too messy and the lines not as clean as I would have liked but it's all about trial and error! I'll let you be the judge.

I also did a batch of "The Ultimate Vanilla" cupcakes from the Cupcake Project. I did not have vanilla bean unfortunately and it was about 2am when I got around to these suckers so I had to do without it. I need to make another batch of regular size "Ultimate Vanilla" cupcakes with the bean so I can get the full flavor but regardless I absolutely loved the recipe. It was super easy to make and came out at just the right texture! I topped them with some homemade buttercream frosting and VOILA!

Very pleased with them, I set a few aside for me to scarf down later. I made them a little more Valentine's day ish.

Here are the dinky dinks that were for Tricia, hope you enjoy!
